MSIE 5.50 Problems

Greetings!

I am using MSIE 5.50 w/ Win 95, and for some reason when I try to open a link in a new window, the window will open, and it will appear to try to open the link but it just sits there forever trying to no avail.

If I go back to the previous window, and copy the link, and paste it into the new window which was just previously opened, it will then find the site and open fine.

Your help would be greatly appreciated because I like to open links in a new window!
