I have a Sony VGN-FS980. I did a clean install and put Win Vista. On my HDD there is a 5GB EISA partition.

Can anyone tell me how to access the programs inside the partition.

The EISA partition is there so you can recover the system later. This would be why, in your other post, you don't have any recovery CDs.

It is not advisable to remove it in case you need it later, but if you must, something like Partition Magic or similiar can get shot of it.
