Frontpage 2003 problem

I had started working on a website using frontpage 2003, and now i am running into a problem. It has been about a week since the last time i worked on the site. Now when i open frontpage, i get a windows installer dialog box that pops up when frontpage starts to open. The dialog box displays for a second or two then disappears. The problem is,when i try to open my saved web now, i get an error message saying: "There was an error when trying to run frontpage(open as html) the command :failed"
I have tried to figure out how to get these pages to open in frontpage so that i can continue to edit them but i am stuck. Has anyone here experienced this problem, or have a workaround to this?
