Yesterday I went to watch a video on myspace and was given notice that i needed to update flashplayer. I did so and now every time I start up my comp, A small Dos window pops up and the oompa loompa song starts and bogs down my machine. I can stop this by ending the process o0mpa_l00mpa.exe. I don't know how it became a background process or how to get rid of it. please help....thanks

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.

To add to Kat's reply. Never update any program through MySpace if you are told to. Go to the real website for the update. There are many hidden viruses and trojans spread throughout MySpace.

This is the real update site for Flash Player.
