Win32 Services Encountered Problem

Hi,

I've recently installed internet at home and when the Technician plugged my notebook in, my computer immediately got this popup about "Generic Host Process for Win32 Services Has Encountered a Problem". If I leave this popup, more will appear. However, my internet is does still work. However, this gets really annnoying with all the popups and then I am force to reboot. Please note there is no freezing of any component of Windows here.

Prior to getting internet installed at home, I often plugged in my notebook at work, at wireless internet cafes and libraries and never encoutered a problem.

Anyway, I spent most of today reading up what to do but have not had much luck. Now however, ever since getting the Win32 popup at home, when I connnect at work, my interent starts out fine, but then starts to chug and then finally freezes. If that's not the case, the internet connection will freeze up (ie. I can't disable my network connections or access the properties); as well, I have trouble accessing the taskbar, the start menu or even the task manager - again, this is using internet at work now.

In any case, I've run Adware, Spybot and AVG Anti-Spy but they did not find anything.

Would appreciate any help as the only option the IT guy gave me was to format - I would prefer to avoid formatting unless absolutely necessary.

PS. The scans attached is using internet from work. But I'll prob be offline for the next 30-60min but will be back online (at home) afterwards - can grab a log from there later if that's needed. Again, thx.

Hi,

Still having problems with internet which is also causing pretty much everything on the Windows taskbar to freeze - start menu, windows in the taskbar, accessing the taskbar options (right click), the tool bar (where the clock is). However, I am able to open things on the desktop and right-click on the desktop.

Also noticed that this morning, there was a new file on the desktop with the hijackthis icon but the name of it was "raylee.exe" rather than "hijackthis.exe".
