Actually, don't try Lenevo's site, I've just had a look & they only have the driver for Lenovo's USB webcam but part numbers don't match.

I have found it for you though on driversguide.com
You'll need to register (free) with driversguide. Once registered & logged in, search for drivers. Type into the search box: IBM 33L4889
This should bring up the correct driver. Make sure you download the one for your version of Windows & remember to instruct the download page to save the file to your hard disk (not CD).

Let us know if you have any problems

You're very welcome

Let me know if you run into any difficulties obtaining the driver & I'll download it & email it to you instead if you wish

hi samm,

I am home ready to install the driver. Found new hardware wizard popped up.
It says: If your hardware came with an installation CD or floppy disk, insert it now.
Should I Install the software automatically?
I clicked on Install automatically. I got the same warning I did last night, which is:
The software you are installing for this hardware has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP.
Continuing your installation of this software may impair or destabilize the correct operattion of your system either immediately or in the future. Microsoft strongly recommends that you stop this installation now and contact the hardware vendor for software that has passed Windows Logo testing.

Thank you as always

Hi MaryMay

That's a perfectly normal warning to get - just ignore it & click continue!
