Need help with the bootdisk

I put in my boot disk and i wanna remove my HD and reinstall it but when i type A:/fdisk.exe it doesnt work and i dont no what to do can someone help me please

What bootdisk? Is it on a floppy disk or CD? Are you trying to setup or delete partitions?
