I reinstalled XP and now no matter what I try it says sound driver is corrupted - I installed a new sound card and it still says corrupted. Is there anything I can do short of totally reformatting the drive.
Thanks

Tell us a bit more, what is your system and what sound card do you have? Are you using the default MS drivers or did you download drivers from the card maker's site? Did you uninstall the corrupt drivers before installing the new ones?
