I am making a new website where I would like to have the top banner and menu be one flash movie if possible. The reason for this is that I have a small butterfly that will follow the cursor when it is over either of these things (menu or banner) and would like it to cleanly flow between them.

The rest of the page I would like to be in HTML. So the banner/menu are a template and I can very easily be able to edit the rest of the page.

Anyone have any ideas on how to effectively do this?

As for the flash one uses script which embeds the flash in the page, and there is plenty fo script around for that. For the butterfly followng the mouse, that would normally involve javascript and there's plenty of script for that too.

One way to find out about it is just look at the source code on pages that use flash and mouse followers.
