For future reference, how would one go about installing a *.dll?Would probably easiest to just reinstall AIM.
Do you just download it from a site like http://www.dll-files.com/ and go Start > Run and type in
regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\name of *.dll
??

Copy the DLL into your system32 folder ie. C:\WINDOWS\system32.
Start > Run > cmd (brings up a dos box).
Install the files by typing ' regsvr32 whateverfilenameitis.dll'
It ususally reports if thie file has been installed correctly.

hey guys,
If you are gonna download missing dlls from http://www.dll-files.com/,watch out fot the correct version of the dll.A lot of times it did not work although I register the dll properly in RUN box or DOS prompt.
may be someone can pour in a bit more here!
