How do I access my MS-DOS or .EXE program on a Floppy Disk so I can use it without installing it on a computer.

To access it, put it on a floppy and you can access it through "my computer".

You have to create a bootable DOS floppy and copy the .exe file into it. Boot the computer with the floppy in place. If it doesn't boot enter BIOS and set to make flopy drive the first boot device. After bootup, at the prompt, type the name of the file (e.g: xyz.exe) and press enter.

To create a bootable floppy: enter a diskette into the drive. go to My Computer > right click drive A: > choose format. check the box create ms-dos startup disk. start. The process will format the diskette and will load necessary boot files.

What kind of .exe file are you trying to run here? If you are doing a BIOS update you have to be very careful about what you load on the floppy.
