I did a broadband test and it says that

Compared to the average of 3015 tests from comcast.net:
* download is 59% worse, upload is 52% worse

Does anyone know what i can do to increase my speed?

Thanks in advance

I'm really a novice when it comes to computers

I went to dslreports.com and took a Flash 8 plugin based speed test

Not sure if that answers the question, but after i selected a place to do the test from it gave me those results i stated earlier

Has it always been slow, or just recently? Is it Cable or DSL? Do you go through a proxy?

Not sure what a proxy is

I'm a novice when it comes to computers

I just had my PC cleaned

But it still takes some time to load pages
