so much of my Central Processing Unit while IE6 doesn't?

For example, I can open 3 IE Browsers and all will load and operate smoothly. However, I load up 3 Mozilla browsers, and then all of them use up 50 CPU *like the max for my CPU, I guess?*

I do have an extension and one of those custom themes, but even if I take them off, it does me no good and still kinda runs laggily.

Is this wierd? Should I switch to IE6?

Firefox can be memory hungry depending on what you do with it, but you shouldn't really need to have three "windows" open as such, use the tabs features without taking up any extra memory.

As to actual memory usage (total right hand side of Task Manager) - apparently anywhere between 100k and 200k can be considered normal. No more than Opera, apparently. Remember the reported figure for IE6 and IE7 are often not true because they use parts of Windows that are already loaded.

I see.

I'll use the tab feature more often. Thanks for your advice.
