Office Computer Will Not Boot Up, please help

HP Pavillion, AMD Sempron 3000+ 1.8GHz, 384mb Ram

When the computer boots in regular mode, I get the error message scvhose.exe application error. Also Live update engine com module has encountered a problem and needs to close.

I'd like to post hjt logs but I cant even boot up, any help??

I can boot in safe mode, running norton antivirus now.
