Every time I try and upload my pictures from my digital camera to the folder I created for them on my computer I get this error that says "The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request." and I took like 700 or more pictures from my trip to Alabama and I didn't just take them so they could fu** up, I took them for memories. I've never had this error previously and they open fine on the digital camera itself, any help?

Edit: Now I'm not getting the error after restart BUT I am getting much worse now:
Whenever I click the digital camera images it says "No preview available" so What the... is that? I took a LOT of pictures from my vacation and I am not about to lose a good portion of them so I really need help.
