I have gone through the steps to take before posting to this forum. Run the ATF Cleaner, run AVG, Super, Panda, etc. There are several issues I am having with my internet connection that make me think something is amiss. This started happening a few weeks ago. I cant associate it with installing any certain software but my kids also use the computer to surf the internet so I cant be sure that they did not come across a tainted website. The first thing that is happening is that I get different looking Dial Up Networking connection dialog boxes coming up when I first start up my computer. A dialog box will pop up and stay for about 15 seconds and then disappear. Then another one will pop up a few seconds later and then disappear. This happens 3 or 4 times until one will show up and stay. The second thing that happens is that sometimes when I connect, the connection will stay for 30 seconds or so and then disconnect by itself and another dial up networking connection dialog box will pop up. Another thing that is happening is that the computer will no longer connect automatically. my computer used to connect automatically whenever a program needed the internet but for some reason the check box for "connect automatically" will not stay checked. I have tried adjusting the settings in internet explorer for "never dial, dial when not connected, and always dial default" but no matter what I choose and no matter how many times I check the box for "connect automatically" in the connection properties itself, I always have to connect by pressing the connect button. The final problem I am having is when I try to check my email through outlook express. Whenever outlook goes to connect to my mail server I get this strange dialog box pop up that looks similar to this
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Outlook Express
A dial-up Networking Connection is already established to SBC DSL

_ Try to locate the server on the current connection
_ Hang up and dial ?][C DSL

Connect Cancel
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The second check box doesnt look exactly like that but uses strange ASCII symbols in place of the "SB". My internet connection is called SBC DSL. I check the "try to locate" box and click connect and it brings up the same box again. I check the "try to locate" box again and press connect again and this time it actually checks my mail. The thing is that when it checks my mail and I see the dialog box showing the progress of checking my mail, it shows that it is using the "?][C DSL" connection to check the mail instead of my default "SBC DSL" connection. If I press the cancel button it quits trying to check mail.

I have Spybot, Adaware, Windows Defender, AVG Antispyware, Superantispyware, [email protected] Yahoo internet security (antispyware, antivirus, and popup blocker) installed. I ran a full virus scan with my yahoo antivirus a few day ago and it found no viruses

In the logs you will see Drive "F:". I installed a new hard drive about 6 to 8 months ago and kept my old "c" drive in the computer and it became drive "F:" It is just a storage drive now but it still has all of the info on it that it had when it was the main drive.

Below are the logs that I have obtained. Thank you for taking the time to read this rather lengthy explaination of my problem and let me know if there is any other info that you need. Thanks!!
