I have a pc that can see the network, but is unable to access the internet. I looked through the Event Viewer | Application Logs. There is a repeating error of Source 'Alert Manager Event Interface'. The description is as follows:
VirusScan Enterprise: The file 'C:\Windows\System32\msnetax.dll.vir is infected with PWS-LSP Trojan. Detected with Scan Engine 5100 DAT version 5001.(from SPECTRO2 IP xxx.xxx.xx.x user SYSTEM running VirusScan Enter 8.0 OAS). Since I have no access to the internet on this computer, it makes it difficult to use the tools specified with updated virus definitions. I have run the following software to try and fix the problem:
McAfee VirusScan - found no viruses.
AdAware - Found nothing.
SpyBot S&D - Found nothing.
ATF Cleaner
Super AntiSpyware - Found two things - one a Trojan. After SAS deleted what it had found and rebooted, I reran SAS and it found the same thing once again.

I rebooted and ran HiJackThis. I will post my results in another update.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

I am currently running AVG Anti-Spyware to see if it will find and fix the problem. I will post any results it gives me.

I will also rerun Super AntiSpyware once more so I can post the exact Trojan it finds.

As an FYI, I tried starting this PC up in Safe Mode and it reboots itself at a certain point while loading the OS. Thus, I never get into Safe Mode.
