Wondering if this task manager looks normal with soooo many svchosts.exe ?

I also have that many svchost.exe running I used to think the same thing that it was weird.... but no matter what virus scan/spy ware scan I ran... it was all normal. It doesnt look like anything wrong with it. Are you haveing trouble with something specific, like slow running or something?

Hi Thomas Aquinas!

svchost.exe is a system process belonging to the Microsoft Windows Operating System which handles processes executed from DLLs. Many programs have processes that run from a DLL file, so having that many is normal so don't worry about it. :whistling:

I had five running on my computer when I had XP installed on my computer. I have ten of them running on my Vista machine now and that is normal.
