ok, heres my problem, my mouse seems to "hang" whenever i do something. opening a folder, minimizing something...its very odd.
ive just recently formatted my hard drive and reinstalled windows xp, it didnt do this up until now, after the reinstall.
my mouse is a mico innovations standard 3 button mouse, using the mouse port (not USB)
my system specs are pretty decent, 2 ghz processor, 64 meg video card, geforce 2 to be exact, 768 megs of ram,

if anyone knows what might be causing this, any help would be greatly appreciated

p.s. ive noticed it does it not just in windows, but in games or other programs as well.

is it an optical mouse or a roll ball mouse.. If it is a roll ball mouse take the ball out and clean it......also make sure you are using a mouse pad making sure.
