I had been having major problems with Flash Player freezing on certain websites.

I resolved them - eventually! - by uninstalling fp 9 and reinstalling to fp7. I found a version updated to 7.0.69.0.

I have just had to use system restore for another problem and, in the process, have lost my source for the Flash Player 7.0.69.0 stand alone Netscape and IE installation files.

Does anyone know where they are to be found? I have already spent hours and hours trawling Google searches and I know they're out there somewhere.

Many thanks.

Hi cuparboy. Welcome to Geeks to Go!

Here's what I found for older versions of Flash: http://www.filehippo...hplayer_ie/?318

Can you not just download IE? Which version are you looking for, 6 SP1, SP2, or 7?

What about Netscape?

Thanks, Linda, I will try that version.

I do know, however, that 7.0.69.0 is out there somewhere and it solved my problems (whatever they are) in Firefox 2.0.0.3 and Opera 9.2 using the Netscape standalone installion file. There is an equivalent for IE which also solved my problem with that browser (which I strongly prefer not to use).

If you still need Flash 7 for whatever reason.

Thanks, Penguin. We're almost there! That's 7.0.61.0.

Somewhere they are still updating it for, I believe, Linux.

Edit: Found it! It's here: http://www.adobe.com...cfm?id=tn_14266
