halo error problem

ok i just installed halo right now and when i run it i get an error sayin

" A problem occured intializing Direct Draw Hardware. Acceleration may be disabled, please run dxdaig.

i dont know what this mean and i did run dxdiag \

and in the tab display under directx features i have no option to enable them or disabled them so i am confused the only option i have is to test directdraw i am really confused help would be appreciated.

What are the specs of your PC?
If you don't know then please download and run SysSpec. Run the file > click on the system button > click edit > click copy to clipboard and then paste it with your reply.
