I accidentally rebooted with a blank floppy in the drive. Big booboo right there. There was a black screen with white letters saying something Caldera. It also said, "Not ready error reading drive A. Abort, Retry, Fail? I tried typing A for abort. I tried exit, close, and quit. I'm still stuck here. It's scrolled down, so unfortunately, I can't tell you anymore details about the first message except that it had something to do with a Caldera program. I googled Caldera and I think it's some kind of DOS program. But the floppy was blank. I checked it in another computer.

Is there a command to get me off this screen or is it safe to just shut down the computer with the power button?

Any advice would be appreciated. I don't want to make it worse than it already is.

I would remove the diskette and then reboot the PC... Something must be on that diskette that the other PC's cannot see.
