Hello:
I just got a problem that started about a week ago where I cannot open more IE windows by clicking a link or by right-clicking and saying open in new window. The windows apparently do open up because when I hit ctrl-alt-delete I can see them there as multiple instances of Internet Explorer. I have to end task all those screens and then come back to the original, but I cannot use those screens.
I think I was trying to run a program that cleared out my index.dat file and something got screwed up.
I reinstalled Internet Explorer and now I cant find something on a page. That action says there is a Error 35 Incompatible version of the RPC stub.
I ran the obvious Ad-aware, counterspy, spychecker and Spybot and I've got nothing.
Any help at all would be appreciated.
Thanks a lot.
Mehul P.
PS I can post my hijackthis log if needed.

Either follow the directions if you have office 2000 or download the fix
