I'm having several problems with my computer:

-My printer is always offline. When I attempt to put it back online I get the following message: "Operation could not be completed."

-Right now the start bar and all the windows are neither Windows XP or Windows Classic. They have XP icons, but they are gray, square, and have no shading.

-When I try to reinstall Norton's AntiVirus 2004, I get the following message: "Norton AntiVirus 2004 installation has failed. Do you want to try to install again?"

-If I try to uninstall Norton WMI Update before I reinstall, it says: "The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Call your support personnel for assistance." Other programs will uninstall.

-When I run Sims 2, every five minutes the game minimizes.

-I cannot for the life of me get MediaAccK.exe or MediaAccess.exe off my computer.

-These are the processes I'm currently running:

opera.exe
ctfmon.exe
msnmsgr.exe
MediaAccess.exe
MediaAccK.exe
TBPSSvc.exe
RADIO.EXE
PIB.exe
TBPS.EXE
taskmgr.exe
EXPLORER.EXE
rundll32.exe
avgupsvc.exe
avgupsvr.exe
SPOOLSV.EXE
SVCHOST.EXE
SVCHOST.EXE
SVCHOST.EXE
SVCHOST.EXE
SVCHOST.EXE
NAVSetup.exe
LSASS.EXE
SERVICES.EXE
WINLOGON.EXE
CSRSS.EXE
SMSS.EXE
System
System Idle Process

The only ones I want running are Opera and MSN Messenger, but if I try to close the others they pop up again instantly. Also, there's no entries in the User Name field in Task Manager, so I don't know which processes the computer needs to have running and which are unecessary

-I can't switch users, I can only log on and off.

Here's my HijackThis log:
