Hey another canadian....welcome to geekstogo!

You do know that Newegg doesn't ship to canada right.... So how do you plan on getting it to your house? Do you have arrangements?

Your going to need a motherboard to put everything together......
This is a pretty basic motherboard, I can't see it giving must head room for overclocking

Because your budget is lower I really recommend you just stick with intergraded audio till you can come up with a bit more money.

I really don't like like that PSU, 90%+ of the PSU that come with cases are going to short taking out components with it. I highly recommend nothing less then a 550W PSU, since it'll give you some head room for future upgrades.

Drop the CD rom drive, the burner is all you need.

get this hard drive instead of your current one. Double the cache (16mb instead of 8mb) for only $3 (USD) more!

Thanx for you quick reply and help!
Yeah, darn I didn't know newegg doesnt ship to Canada.
I guess I'm going to have to rely on Tiger Direct.
I'm new to PC building, So I'm assuming Integrated Audio Comes with your Motherboard.? :whistling:

Sh0ould my mother Board be SLI enabled? Is SLI needed? Games I would like to play are:
COunter Strike 1.6
Counter Strike Source
Half Life 2 ( Deathmatch, and the single player mode)
GuildWars
Supreme Commander

And I think that's about it.

If you're ordering online I really suggest you buy from NCIX.COM they have cheap shipping and their prices are very good. And as for the SLI question I learned from James and others that SLI is a marketing gimmic and it only increases performance by 20%, so you shouldn't pay 100% for just that little increase in performance. By the way do you know what SLI is?

Don't ever worry about SLI, unless there is major impovements you'll always be dissapointed with the results.

Yes intergraded audio means that there is a audio chip built into the mothboard.

www.tigerdirect.ca
www.NCIX.com
are the best sites for us Canadians as Soorena has already mentioned, you'll notice that prices are quite higher, more so then the exchange rate in most cases.

But as setybet said, if you can get a hard drive with 16mb cache and be sure it is SATA 3.0GB/s for best performance, it's more or less the same price as well. You'll be looking at about 110$ for 320GB.
