Whenever I try to log into hotmail using IE7, I keep on getting the classic hotmail interface and not the new Windows Live Interface....apparently I am told by hotmail that my browser (IE7) is not compatible with the new Windows Live Interface....However when I use Firefox to sign into hotmail I'm able to get the new windows live interface no problem....

Is there something that I need to enable in IE7? I would also like to mention that I've got Flash 9 and javascript installed for both browsers.

Regards

I would also like to add that when I try to install shockwave for IE7 from the official adobe site, it does not work. I get a message saying

Shockwave Player Download Center

ATTENTION NETSCAPE 6 USERS:

Note: If you have Netscape 6.0, then please update to Netscape 6.1 before installing the Shockwave Player. To determine what version of Netscape you have, select the "About Communicator" option in your browser's Help Menu. Click here to update your browser to Netscape 6.1.

Please visit our table of recommended Web players .

It says that when clearly I've got IE7 !

Thank you I hope a solution will be found

What version of Vista do you have? (upgrade, new OS, dual booting, etc)
What version of Java is installed?

Make sure you have the services needed "enabled"
