Can anyone tell me how i can be sure that an unwanted program like limewire is completely gone from my pc?
My teenage daugter and friends added limewire over the weekend to my pc, while i was working. I deleted it, but how can i be sure it is all gone! needless to say, my pc will now have a password on it. I do not condone using programs like limewire. I would appreciate any help. Thanks!!!

First use "Add/Remove Programs to uninstall Limewire.
Then delete the folder C:\Program Files\Limewire (if it exists).
Now look in C:\Documents and Settings\(Your Account Name) and delete two folders. One is named "Incomplete" and the other is named "Shared".

That should have got rid of it all.
