My Computer Continually Freezes

hey all.

my computer will freeze up on me every 5-10 minutes. this causes me to reset the computer and start again.

all of my cpu is fine, i have run virus scans and nothing is working.

i cant even do ctrl-alt-del when it freezes, that wont even come up.

please help me!

With freezing issues you should first try to clean the dust from inside your computer. This is especially if the computer is older. Dust is a major cause of heat issues. Cans of air are about $5 and they sell them at most computer and office stores.

You can check your temparutes in your BIOS (usually del or F2 during startup). Also you can download speedfan to check your temparutes under loads: http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php. It is not compatable for everyone though.
