PROBLEM SOLVED, THANKS WHISKEYMAN

After deleting/uninstalling a lot of stuff to get back some memory, from 3mb free to over 1gb (it's a COMPAQ with 7gb max), all of a sudden I have this problem. I went to a reg scanner that said I had a lot of problems, but don't want to shell out the $30.00 unless I know they can fix what's wrong (possibly driver and/or registry errors?)

Thanks

Get rid of that registry cleaner. You need to reinstall your graphics driver to fix the display issue.
