probs with logging into msn

hey all anyone know why when i try to log into my msn mail i get a page saying that microsoft no longer supports the web browser you are using please upgrade to ie/or netscape....im using the lastest verion of firefox i have java enabled, i also cannt log into my yahoo account,,it says i need axtiveX now to view this page...so do i now need to have a new version of ie to suf some of my fav websites and why would i need to use netscape instead of mozilla, are they both not using a gecko rendering engine...cheers any thoughts would be great :tazz:
