wc3 tft cd....

hi,
i just recieved my new laptop with vista home premium preinstalled on it (OMG!! :whistling:

)
and now i installed diablo 2 which is running perfectly, and wc3: RoC
now, i have a problem with the installation of the expansion, TfT.
the installation always freezes at the point where it says, currenty installing: C:\warcraft3\maps\(6)themarsh....

anyway, i tried open tech support forums on bnet, and they told me to manually patch and run the installer in selective startup...which i did
still didnt work.
so i was suggested to copy all the files from the cd to a seperate folder, and install from there.
but them it gives me an error, setup.mpq cannot be read!
does this mean its a cd problem?

p.s. I ALREADY TRIED COMPATIBILITY MODE AND RUNNING AS ADMINISTRATOR!!

is the cd free of scratches, finger prints? If so then I would lean toward a possibly defective cd. It could also be something with your laptop's cd drive.
