Could someone tell me or give me a lilnk where I can found out the definitions and meanings of the different Discs that are commeercially available. I noitced that some are CD-R, CD+R. DVD-R and DVD+R. I'm aware that the connotation "RW" stands for rewritable, but these other initials have me stumped.

What's the difference between the various DVD recordable formats, and what should I buy?
