PLEASE HELP ME! I HAVE WINDOWS XP SP2 INSTALLED AND CAN ONLY BOOT UP IN SAFE MODE, OR SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING.

I WAS LISTENING TO MUSIC USING SONOS II AND THE SONG PAUSED, THEN STARTED AGAIN, THEN PAUSED AGAIN. I THEN CLOSED THE SONOS II AND REOPENED IT AND STARTED TO PLAY THE SAME SONG AGAIN. WHEN I DID THE COMPUTER SHUT DOWN AND NOW I CAN ONLY BOOT AS I SAID IN SAFE MODE.

ALL MY PROGRAMS AND EVEN THE INTERNET WORK IN SAFE MODE. I HAVE TRIED TO GET INTO MY HELP FILES (I HAVE A DELL) AND IT SAYS THEY ARE NOT THERE.

I AM LOOKING AT TRYING TO REPAIR WINDOWS BUT I ONLY HAVE THE INSTALLATION DISK THAT CAME WITH THE COMPUTER FROM DELL SO I'M AFRAID IT WILL ERASE MY HARD DRIVE AND THEN I'D HAVE TO START OVER.

PLEASE, PLEASE HELP.
