If I mistype a domain name in my address bar, my browser (IE 6.0, Netscape 8, Firefox)goes to one of many pages which are full of links to porn & other trash sites.

It also happens if I type just a word or phrase without an extention. It used to be my browser would do a google search for it. Now, it goes to one of these d%#@ links pages.

Some pages it goes to are Hot***.com, Webs***.com & Q***.com.

Editted link names from post so that no one actually tries going to those sites.

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.
