Display goes off & on?

Hi everyone,

Hope I am putting this in the right forum. Here is my problem, for the past week or so my display will go off & on every 5 to 10 minutes. It acts like it is resizing screen resolution, but I don't notice any difference in appearance. The only thing that I have done differant lately is go from IE6 to IE7. I have a Dell Dimension 8300, 2.6 Intel with H/T, 200 g of HD space,1536 ram, and a Nvidia 7600 gs 512 vid card. Thanks for any help!
