My first post so here goes.

I have a computer which on shutdown of Windows XP Pro.

with error code:

UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
STOP: 0x000000ED (0x80E9ACC0, 0xC0000032, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

What should I do to fix it??

First thing I would try is remove your hard drive and put it back in.

hey! that actually works!! Thank you so much for helping!! But it took me almost half an hour to configure it but its totally worth it!!!
