A few weeks ago i got this adware. it opens internet explorer and tries to go to a site, using zonealarm i have blocked its connections. but even when i use firefox(my main internet program) it sometimes uses it to go to the ad of some kind of antispyware. furthermore, my ram seems to get eaten up for no apparant reason throughout specifically my gaming sessions, where my computer is "thinking" very hard. though this is usual at times because norton and windows tries to update itself regularly, windows i allow, norton antivirus is out of date now for quite some time, but lately since i noticed xloadnet my computer "thinks" so hard that it actually freezes for about 5 seconds instead of merely lagging my game (how i know this is that my music that is playing even stops). my i have been through multiple forums and see that xloadnet appears to take many steps to remove and thus i have not attempted to any further. i have read the begining thingy and understand that the AVG steps should be next. i just wish to confirm that that is what i ought to be doing. here is my HJT log: (again i myself looked over the log, and saw only xloadnet as being out of place, hopefully i am correct in that assessment. thanks for your effort)
