We have 4 computers networked in our office with Vista. Occasionally one of the computers (it has happened on all of them at one point or another) denies access to a particular drive. The first time this happened, the cd drive was still installed, but there was a red X on it denying access to it. We our regular computer guy in who tried to figure out what the problem was for many hours. He called Microsoft, we paid $59 for their tech support for them only to tell us 2 hours later that they couldn't fix the problem. So the computer guy had to reinstall Vista to solve that problem. Since then that computer has been okay, but the other three have drive access problems. These problems only have to do with the shared drive and not the cd drive.

Does anyone have this problem? Any ideas?
