Linux.

This is a weird file. I cannot move it, delete it, alter it... I need it to go away.

# whoami
root
# ls -l
ls: cannot access entries: No such file or directory
total 0
-????????? ? ? ? ? ? entries
# rm entries
rm: cannot remove `entries': No such file or directory

You can just use a wildcard to delete everything in that folder without typing out the full file name...

rm -R *
