That review is bias making it look better then what it is, I have never even seen that site before so I can't even saw if it's reliable or not. It very well could be since no one has seen every creditable site, just throwing that out. The values between are much smaller then the graph portrays them to be. As long as a 12V rail remains above 12v your fine and will not have stability issues.

This one is 25$ cheaper and will offer all you'll ever need.
It's also has a higher efficiency and as warriorscot already mentioned more reliable and have a longer warrenty (it's longer by 2 full years).
Also it'll run much quieter and has the additional 12v rail.

I'm not trying to get into a pissing contest, but let the customer reviews speak for themselves. http://www.newegg.co...N82E16817128002 NewEgg rates their efficencies as the same. you got me on the extra 12v rail. 63% give 5 eggs on the Antec out of 57 reviews, and 86% give 5 eggs on the Hiper out of 170 reviews. These are people just like us, enthusiasts, some with more and some with less knowledge..Oh yeah, I can't even hear mine running. Is this review acceptable? http://www.extremeov...peR_580W_1.html Or is this one? http://www.viperlair...p4B580/p2.shtml How about this one. http://www.phoronix....i...m=257&num=3

Thats great but I don't really care at all about noise. Who cares if it is a little noisier, it just has to do its job. Also I am not going to spend an extra $35 for less amps of +12v rail and a little bit better reviews because of its funky cables.

Ok I want to clarify on something here, I'm not saying that the PSU you bought was a horrible buy or that it's a bad PSU. All I am saying is that there is a PSU with more rails, better warrenty, longer name in the business (in north american anyways) and to sum it up it sells for less.
Also lately I have been hearing a lot of people having negative comments rejected on Newegg when they had a bad experience with a product. Whether it's true or not I'm not sure, but if it's, it's really bad on their part and the reviews at newegg shouldn't be 100% trusted. The negative is more important then the positive when you buy a product because nothing has no faults or lemons from time to time.

I think this one has run it's course. A little friendly debate is healthy, but this discussion is not helping anyone...so I'm closing it.
