recycle bin

Ok this may seem foolish, but i have windows vista, and i have no idea where my recycle bin disappeared too. Does anyone know how do i retrieve it and replace it back to the desktop.

Go to Control Panel \ Personalize (or right-click on the desktop and select Personalize) then Click the Change Desktop Icons link on the left hand side. then just check the recycle bin box.
