also look at the box below it the very last one its called tcp/ip ..highlite that an if properties or install lights up choose install and then protocol

it would be eassier getting a connection at your friends for sure with your ethernet

OK - I chose the TCP/IP microsoft 6. It now says "close" at the bottom. Should I close it and try my card?

with a waek wireless signal its not gonna matter what we configure perhaps you might want to consider going to your friends an hooking up the ethernet
