I dont know. This might sound trivial, but i have been trying to change my icons for a very long time. I downloaded a set of icons, but whenever i try to use them they do not work. The icons i download, must they be .ico files, or can they be anything?? I am using windows vista, home premium.

I do it step by step, where i click change icons, then when i try to apply it, it says the file contains no icons.
All the images are .png images. Is this why?

These icons work with my Vista. They come zipped, so make a folder for them and unzip in their own folder.

How big do you want them? All you have to do in Vista is hold down the Ctrl button and use the mouse scroll at the same time to make them bigger or smaller.
