Hello.. Im having a bit of trouble with my computer.. While 90% of the time its functioning properly.. Whenever i try to open a folder on my 2nd hard drive (160GB Maxtor Diamondmax plus) that contains Video Files (MPG, MPEG, AVI, WMV) The computer just locks up.. the hourglass comes up by the mouse i cant do anything.. then about 2 minutes later.. i get this Popup Ill attach a screen shot of that later in the post.. Then i have to open up the task manager and End process on the folder i was trying to open up then windows explorer crashes..

This only happens when trying to open a folder containing video files.. i can open any other folder containing zip,rar,mp3, basically any other type of file except a video file.. Please if anyone can help i'd really appreciate it..

Also i had this problem before and i did a fresh install of windows XP on my primary drive.. after the format i installed basic programs.. firewall(Zonealarm), Anti virus(Nortons2004), Aol.. burning programs

I tried to locate the program hijack this because ive seen while searching that alot of the tech guys request a log of its scan.. but was unable to locate the program.. I will continue to search for it

Again thanks for any help that you can provide

LongHorn will be out before I can make sense of a HJT log

Fortunately there is a malware section in internet for HJT logs, post it there and you will get an answer

You can also post it on the tomcoyote site
