XP Pro error

I have a Dell 4600, xp pro w/all updates. The file "LXBFSNT.EXE" dialog box appeared on reboot, and on each restart. Searched harddrive, found files. Dialog box says "Failed to start". What is this file for & what program uses it. Everything seems to work ok, but!
