Hijacked desktop

My desktop has been taken over by a black screen with "warning! You're in danger. I downloaded, installed and ran Trojan Hunter and Kaspersky virus detectors and Kaspersky eliminated the Yellow triangle in the botton toolbar which caused different wbsites to keep popping up, but that is gone now and only the black screen remains. I am a novice at this so I am lost as to what else to try. Please advise. Thanks alot
