The Green power on lamp keepps blinking. When I go to the Control Panel and try to set the computer to Home/Office Desk and then save this setting I get the error Mesg. "Power Policy Manager unable to set policy", "Indicates Two Revision Levels are Incompatable".
When the machine boots up it always comes up as "Portable/Laptop" and the Green Power lamp is Blinking. This Lamp keeps blinking no mater what I do and it always reverts to laptop on reboot.

The computer seems to be working fine, no problems I can see. Just the Power on Lamp blinking and the Laptop power saving being applied.

Hope you can Help
