ive just reinstalled windows and all the drivers and utilities but there is no sound !
its not on mute and the speakers are turned on
when i open itunes it says there is a problem with my audio settings
its not my sound card as i have tested it in the hardware test utility before windows starts up.
i have also uninstalled the driver in computer managment and reinstalled it but it dosent work

These are my system specs and the driver i reinstalled was dell R58182

please can someone help me

can you list the service tag for you system (found on the back). I can use that to find the right stuff for you.

thnx for your help but i sort of fixed the problem
as sound worked on another user on the pc so just created a new one
i think audio was disabbled or something but it works now so no problems
