Hey I'm having problems with my Windows Vista. Everytime I start the PC it will load up and the cursor appears but on a blank screen. I tried booting it in all the safe modes and it does the same each time i start up. Ctrl+Alt+Del won't bring up anything either.

I'm running Windows Vista Premium on a Dell Dimension 520 PC which was bought new in December 2006 and upgraded to Vista back in March of this year.

Please help

I would recommend at least 1GB of Ram to run Vista. When did you start noticing the problem? Was the computer running well on vista before?

Yea i currently do have 1GB of ram on my PC it was only on wednesday that it started playing up then yesterday it just booted to a blank screen with the white cursor. Could it be to do with Magic ISO/Disk as they were the last things i installed before it started messing up.

hey I've resolved the problem now. I had to alter BIOS to boot from the Vista installation CD and use system restore from there! It's all working like normal now :-)
