I've been having numerous problems on my computer. I've run all your instructions as indicated, with the exception of Trend Housecall, as it said my security controls wouldn't allow running ActiveX, and I've made so many changes I don't know how to get that to work for legitimate functions.

I've had the about:blank problem for a long time, but it wasn't really an issue until the DrWatson bug appeared too. DrWatson appears to be gone as of this typing, but he's come back before so I'm not holding my breath!

I also just installed XP2 Service Pack after much trepidation about its horror stories. I had installed AdAware and Spybot, then a consultant helped me to install ZoneAlarm and MSAntiSpyware. Have run everything numerous times and was up to running the antispyware 3 or 4 times a day.

Dr. Watson appeared after installing XP2 Service Pack. I had disabled the Windows Firewall, since I was running ZoneAlarm.

Also, today, I uninstalled the Spybot I had in order to install your version with the DSO Exploit Fix. I saw that my Spybot listing in Add/Remove programs showed it hadn't been run since 3/03/05 or thereabouts so think it was corrupted somehow. When I ran the Spybot with DSO Exploit Fix it didn't even run but said immediately that I had a clean system.

Anyway, here's my Hijack This Log--would appreciate any advice for what to do now to avoid hours and hours of cleanup and frustration.
